Aye! Like you all I have no real knowledge of my origins. Here in this land I found myself, wondering in the vast forests of Yew. I can only say that I come from some other distant place and that I left a large family of some sort behind. Though I cannot recall the faces, I can feel the loss still. I remember passing through some mist of some sort and the landscape changing to this one I am now in. I can only guess that this was the will of Danu! I had hoped then that I would find more of my people here but after some time in the forests of Yew I found nothing to keep this hope alive and it dwindled to the smallest spark of a flame. During the time I spent searching the forest I was able to develop my skills at tracking wild animals and hiding from the larger more fierce creatures. Eventually I even learned how to tame some of the smaller animals to do little tricks that entertained me in my solitude. My skill at archery began to climb as I feed myself on the herds of dear and the solitary boar. I took some time to develop my ability to train more difficult animals and was often in the company of a wolf or two. I become proud of knowledge of the forests and how to survive. Living in the woods also forced me to learn how to cook. This I did with a relish and soon became well aquatinted with herbs and spices that would make my meals taste better.

Alas that soon the winter came and with it fell monsters. I was forced numerous times to defend myself from Ogres, Ettins, Trolls, and worse. My forays into town become more frequent and my moneys dwindled away to pay for the numerous arrows I needed to defend myself. I came to the realization that I must move on. I knew that I could not survive through the winter alone. With a sad heart I left and headed to the city of Trinsic. Here I took up tailoring to provide myself with money and soon became quite good due to my dexterous hands. With the money I made I was able to satisfy my thirst for knowledge in many areas that previously where unavailable to me. I learned the lore of arms and gained the ability to identify special items of power. This in turn led me to the learning of Magic. Ah how thrilling it was to cast my first spell "In Mani Ylem" I ate well that night! Soon I discovered that this Magicking was very costly indeed. So I determined that I would need to make money another way. I had heard from the soldier in town that they could often find much wealth from slaying orcs and such and so I found someone to teach me about the use of arms and shield and headed north.

I knew I would never join a mercenary band and that I need a just cause in which to fight so I looked and listened in the great city of Britain for just such a cause. It didn’t take long before I was hurrying down the road toward Cove and the armies of the Orcs. Such a desperate cause as this I would turn my hand to. Here is where I learned the true mettle of battle. Here is where I found comfort for the aching of my heart and here is where I grew into the man and the warrior I am today.

Many of my skills diminished in that time but they where no forgotten and in fact some even improved greatly. I did begin to acquire some small wealth and used it to further my magic skills as well as my fighting. Eventually, I took up the bow again and am now fast approaching true mastery! Recently I have even returned to the taming of animals and find great pleasure in it like finding a long lost toy from childhood. And yet all with all this something was still missing.

The day I met the Great Lord STORMCROW is the day I found my missing piece. There at the Orc Fort by Cove I saw him stride forth from the smoke of battlespells when the fight was done. Tired and dirty we stood together wordlessly. Then I looked upon him and his companions. Could it be? After all these long days. I recognized something in them, perhaps more of spirit than looks. When they told me they where of the Tuatha De Danann I nearly fell to my knees. Yes. I remember now the words of the ancient race that I am now a part of again. I have come full circle to rejoin my clan in these far lands and to fulfill what I believe to be Danu’s design. For I believe that I answered the call long ago and only now was I ready to fulfill Danu’s purpose. Again the Tuatha Da Danann will grow and be strong and nurture this land as we have other lands in the past. This is Danu’s will and this is my creed!

Auldrek has risen quickly through the ranks of the TDD, showing a great interest in the betterment of the clan, and initiative in planning and organization. Auldrek possesses a keen eye towards tactics and a willingness to take immediate action when needed. Always true to his heart he seeks a diplomatic solution to most matters and is always willing and eager to hear about any concern. Auldrek and Morgoth together reformed the TDD after much turmoil and wish to usher in a new age based on the things they learned. To this end they have been nominated and elected as the Clan Eldars and hope to do the clan proud!

Recently Auldrek has been very involved in the UO quests and has aquired many connections that promise to keep the clan very involved in any future developements.
