2nd: Automate will prompt you to name your
macro. I usually use asdf or something similar; because the name is irrelevant
and is only used to identify your tasks, I almost always erase my tasks after I am done
running them and I suggest you do the same to avoid any confusion multiple tasks could
create; after all it only takes 59 seconds to record a task.
3rd: Automate will ask you how often you would
like to run your task and select ONCE EVERY 1 MINUTE, then hit next.
4th: Automate will ask u when u would like to
begin your task, set the time about 5 minutes from the current time to allow yourself
ample time to record the macro and select next.
5th: Select Continue to run this task on
its set schedule and hit next
6th: click the create macro button,
then the start recording button.
7th: after clicking start recording you will be
at the event file window where you
can either name the event in your log; I always leave it
at its default "events1"
8th: the next step is to press the
save button, and begin recording your macro.
9th: when you are done recording you macro
press: Control+Alt+F12 to stop your recording (*note* recording should not be over 59
seconds in length because the task is set to run every minute and going over will result
in a 1 minute pause between tasks, instead of a 1 second pause; so keep an aye on the
stopwatch.)
10th: after Control+Alt+F12 is pressed, get
onto the macro builder tab and click
the add button, followed by the save
macro button.
11th: after the task is successfully saved all
there is left to do is click next on the "construct a macro screen,"
followed by clicking finish on the "add task wizards finished
screen." Your macro should now successfully start running at the time you designated
it to in step 4.
